Business Need:

Before DSIR, maritime inspection operations were disorganized and inefficient due to:

- Manual processes leading to delays and data loss.

- Lack of centralized compliance records and reports.

- No visibility into inspection progress or personnel activities.

- Difficulty in managing ships, inspectors, and documents at scale.

- A robust, digital-first, centralized system was needed to handle complex administrative, operational, and compliance workflows across multiple levels of a maritime organization.

Solution:

Broadifi revolutionized the platform by implementing:

  • Introduced real-time inspection tracking and status dashboards.
  • Implemented secure, role-based authentication and access controls.
  • Enabled gap analysis, inspection reports, and timeline tracking for full auditability.
  • Integrated document management with upload/download capability.
  • Designed with responsive UI and dynamic layouts.
Full Story:

Before DSIR, maritime inspection processes were largely manual, fragmented across spreadsheets, paperwork, and disconnected tools. This led to delays in reporting, inconsistent compliance tracking, and minimal real-time visibility for inspection teams and company admins.

Recognizing the need for a unified digital solution, our team partnered with maritime experts to build DSIR (Dry Ship Inspection Report) — a comprehensive web-based platform that centralizes all aspects of ship inspection and compliance management.

The platform was carefully designed with two user-focused panels: an Admin Panel for managing vessels, assigning inspections, and overseeing compliance documentation, and an Inspection Panel for field officers to conduct real-time assessments, upload reports, and track inspection workflows. With features like OTP-based secure login, dynamic dashboards, interactive charts, file uploads, and role-based access control, DSIR bridges the gap between on-ground inspections and organizational oversight.

Our development approach emphasized scalability, responsiveness, and user experience — ensuring the platform works seamlessly across devices and user roles. Today, DSIR empowers maritime companies with accurate data, real-time operations tracking, and a strong foundation for regulatory compliance.

It's not just a tool — it's a transformation in how ship inspections are managed in the digital era.
